Welcome to membership in KGCSA.  We're excited to get to know you!

There are many benefits of KGCSA membership.  From educational programs to the networking opportunities you'll have a broad scope of resources at your fingertips to help further your career, increase your network of professionals and expand your knowledge.  We encourage you to participate in programs, attend events and keep on top of the news through the many resources provided through the website and KGCSA meetings.

The association offers its members the opportunity to obtain CEUs required by the Kentucky and Indiana State Chemist along with GCSAA Service and Education Points needed in achieving and maintaining the Class A membership category.

KGCSA meetings and events are free to members and provide a good opportunity to meet informally with your peers and gather important information as well as share ideas.  KGCSA members share information, solve problems and learn more about the local golf course industry by attending meetings.  The value of your dues could easily be recovered by finding one inexpensive solution to a problem you are having on your golf course while attending an KGCSA meeting.

Participating in the KGCSA supports your profession on a local basis and provides opportunity to make acquaintances in the local golf course industry.  Golf outings organized by the KGCSA provide more than an enjoyable release from the tensions of everyday work.  Playing golf at local courses stimulates discussion and the sharing of ideas about golf course management techniques and golf course maintenance problem solving.

As a member of KGCSA you can utilize our website if you are seeking other employment opportunities.  The KGCSA offers help to those members who are seeking other opportunities through job listings available on the website.

We are pleased that you have chosen to be a member of the Kentuckiana Golf Course Superintendents Association, which was founded in 1948.  We hope that you will share your knowledge and experiences and you will be an active member of this prestigious group, which has a long history of professionalism and camaraderie.

The membership year runs from January 1 through December 31

There is a dual-membership requirement between KGCSA and GCSAA which requires Class A or B superintendents to maintain membership in both organizations.  If you are already a member of the GCSAA, please include your GCSAA membership number on your application.  If you are not already a member of the GCSAA, you will have 30 days after your acceptance into the KGCSA to complete your membership requirement with the GCSAA.
