The University of Kentucky’s upcoming 49th Annual Turf and Landscape Short Course! This event will be held February 17th-19th 2026 at the Hardin County Extension office in Elizabethtown, KY in partnership with the Kentucky Horticulture Council. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in your career and earn enough CEUs to maintain your pesticide applicators license. Pre-registration is $65 per day and closes February 13th. Onsite registration will be $85 per day. This three-day event consists of the following:
Day 1 (Feb. 17) – Training and Pesticide Test Day: Pesticide training for new employees followed by the pesticide license test. The initial certification exam will be administered by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture immediately after the training on Tuesday, February 17. Approved for 5 CEUs in category 3. If you already have your license and want to obtain CEUs you may attend this day and receive 5 CEUs in category 3. The test will also be available in Spanish this year for those who request it before testing day.
Day 2 (Feb. 18) – Trade Show & three concurrent educational tracks (Golf, Sports, and Lawn and Landscape). Approved for 6 CEUs, five for category 3 and one for category 10.
Day 3 (Feb. 19) – Trade Show & two concurrent educational tracks (Golf and Lawn and Landscape). Approved for 6 CEUs, five for category 3 and one for category 10.
